Comparison Research of Hotspots and Trends of Learning Analytics from 2011-2021: A Visualization Analysis Based on CiteSpace

With the development of big data and social informatization, learning analytics became a popular topic in education received more attention from scholars. In order to explore similarities differences between home abroad, CiteSpace was used compare analyze 178 articles CNKI database 1056 WOS 2011 2021. Hotspots, trends, frontiers domestic foreign research were visually analyzed. The findings show that: 1) number international publications higher than that Chinese 2021; 2) While teacher universities focus on field China, comprehensive pay result publications. 3) Online is key area for research, both China other countries. 4) frontier mainly focused prediction, while “educational mining”, “big data”, “the design environments tools”. analysis captures hotspots, provides reference further by scholars at abroad.
